Bible Verse of the Week 9

It's that time of the week again. Here's this week's verse:

"The grass withers and the flowers falls but the word of our God stands forever." (NIV Isaiah 40:8)

New Poll

I've just added a poll to this blog. Every week I will post a poll, and at the end of the week, I'll post the results.

Created a New List

I've created a new list to add other christian blog or conservative blogs, but it hasn't shown up yet because I don't have any blogs listed yet. It should be found on the lower left hand of this page. Any suggestions for other Christian or Conservative blogs are welcome.

Bible Verse of the Week 8

It's that time of the week again. Hopefully, I will be able to start posting these verses on Sundays, starting this Sunday. Here's the verse:

"'Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you.'" (NIV John 14:1-2)

Personally, I think this a good verse to keep in mind, especially in times of fear, worry or stress.

Verse of the Week 7

It's time for another bible verse. Here's this weeks' verse:

"'Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.'" (NIV Matthew 7:7-8).

Added a Book List

I've just added today, a list of books that I am currently reading that are on either religion, current events or conservative thought. You can find this list on the lower left hand of the page.

I realize that I have not posted anything in months on this blog, and I really don't have an excuse for why I haven't posted anything. I'll try to post more frequently in the future.

Verse of the Week 6

I realize I haven't posted any bible verses for the last two weeks, but here it is now:

"Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations." Psalm 100: 1-5 (NIV version)
